Gigi Jensen joined Pampa Cortés in teaching & performances in Guatemala City. They were joined by George & Jairelbhi Furlong (Dallas), and Lydia Sadler (performing w/ Pampa) to present "Alma de Tango" on Aug 29 for the Guatemala City Rotary Club. Ms. Jensen was the MC for the event.

Tango in Cali, Colombia

In Dec 2008, Gigi had the pleasure of dancing at Tango Vivo. This dance school & company has a beautiful studio in Cali, Colombia and draws an enthusiastic crowd of tango students & dancers. Edwin Chica y Lina Valencia are the directors. Edwin & Lina were Colombian National co-champions and 3rd place winners in the Salón category of the 2nd World Tango Championship in Argentina.

Gigi enjoyed a private lesson with Edwin - hard to come by due to his full schedule. Thank you, Edwin!
